OPP officials allege: Members of the Essex County OPP investigating a sudden death in the Municipality of Leamington.
On March 12, 2025, at 2:36 p.m., members of the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a well-being check at an address on Sherk Street in the Municipality of Leamington, where an individual was located deceased.
Members of the community can expect to see an increased presence of OPP in the area as the investigation continues. Further updates will be provided when they become available.
There is no threat to public safety.
