Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 12, 2025, at approximately 7:41 a.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a family dispute where a 39-year-old male from Ridgetown assaulted a 63-year-old male victim from Chatham by shoving him.
No injuries were reported.
The accused also caused damage to the victim’s vehicle by smashing its windows with a hammer.
Subsequently, on March 13, 2025, at approximately 10:04a.m., the accused was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service based on reasonable probably grounds.
He was charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief under $5,000.
The individual was released with a future court date of March 20, 2025.
