Fentanyl and meth seized during a bust in Sarnia

Sarnia Police Service officials allege: On March 19, 2025, at 7:20 p.m., the Major Case Action Team (MCAT) with support from the Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Canine Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Confederation Street near Vidal Street South in Sarnia.

A search of the residence and a vehicle resulted in the seizure of the following:

– 13.95 grams of suspected uncut fentanyl

– 4.84 grams of crystal methamphetamine

– 0.66 grams of street-ready fentanyl

– Drug trafficking paraphernalia

– A small quantity of cash

The estimated street values:

– Cut fentanyl: $5,000 – $10,000 (depending on cutting ratio)

– Crystal methamphetamine: Approximately $250

A 51-year-old Sarnia man was held for a bail hearing and charged with:

– Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine)

– Two breaches of a release order

– Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
