Fentanyl, cocaine, pills seized, trafficking charges laid in Sarnia

Sarnia Police Service officials allege: The Sarnia Police Major Case Action Team (MCAT) continues to investigate drug trafficking offences in the City of Sarnia.

On April 3, 2025, MCAT officers executed two simultaneous search warrants at residences on Euphemia and Russell Streets.

With the assistance of the Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) and K9, investigators safely made entry to both residences, detaining the occupants found within.

Subsequent searches resulted in the discovery of illegal drugs and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

SPS seized the following items:

– $965.00 CAD in currency

– 145.49 grams of fentanyl

– 0.33 grams of cocaine

– Dilaudid pills (hydromorphone)

– 187.09 grams of an unknown substance (suspected to be a fentanyl-cutting agent)

The estimated street value of the seized controlled substances is $21,941.50.

As a result of this investigation, a 47-year-old Sarnia woman has been held for bail on the following charges:

– Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

– Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone

– Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

– Breach of Release Order

At the time of her arrest, the woman was subject to a Release Order (i.e. out on bail) for similar offences.
