Migrant workers in southwestern Ontario will have access to a range of free health and social services this weekend at the 2025 Health and Information Fair, hosted by the Migrant Worker Community Program.
The event takes place Sunday, April 13 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Roma Club in Leamington and is open to all members of the community.
More than 20 organizations and businesses from Windsor-Essex, Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent are collaborating to connect migrant workers with services and support available in the region.
Attendees will be able to access mental health resources, legal assistance, and a variety of medical check-ups including blood pressure tests, glucose screenings, vaccines and dental screenings. The event will also feature food, music, and prize giveaways.
The Migrant Worker Community Program is funded in part by the Government of Canada’s Migrant Workers Support Program.
