The Walpole Island Fire Department responded to “a significant marsh fire” on Friday, April 18, 2025.
“Our team has responded and extinguished accessible portions of the fire,” Walpole Island Fire Department officials said on social media.
“We continue to actively monitor the situation and are prepared to take further action as needed to ensure public safety.”
