Update: The Sarnia Police Service would like to inform the public that the intersection of Indian Road and Michigan Avenue and surrounding road closures have reopened.
We would like to thank the community for their patience while the investigation and subsequent repairs to a damage traffic police were underway.
Sarnia Police Service officials allege: The Sarnia Police Service is currently investigating a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Indian Road and Michigan Ave, in Sarnia.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, Michigan Avenue will be closed from Briarfield Avenue to O’Rae Avenue and Indian Road will be closed from Errol Road to Rosedale Avenue until further notice.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to ensure public safety and facilitate the work of emergency services.
