Team spots are filling quickly for the Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers Annual Golf Tournament, with nearly 75 per cent of registrations already sold out ahead of the June 21 event at Hidden Hills Golf and Country Club.
The popular tournament brings together residents, local businesses and supporters for a day of golf, networking, and fundraising. Proceeds support Crime Stoppers’ mission to stop, solve and prevent crime across the region by maintaining an anonymous platform for reporting criminal activity.
The event will feature 18 holes of golf, on-course activities and contests, prizes, giveaways, and a meal for all participants. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome.
“The community response has been incredible,” said Erica McIntosh, Program Coordinator for Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers. “Our sponsors and participants are helping us make a real difference by supporting crime prevention efforts in our region.”
Sponsorships from local businesses have played a key role in making the event possible and sustaining Crime Stoppers’ programming, which includes offering cash rewards for tips that lead to arrests.
With limited spots remaining, organizers encourage interested teams to register soon.
