The eighth annual Wallaceburg Shootout is set for May 24, offering a full day of basketball at Wallaceburg District Secondary School in support of a local family.
The co-ed tournament runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will raise funds for three-year-old Ma’iingan Day, who is undergoing treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Teams will consist of five players, with an entry fee of $50 per person. A cash prize will be awarded to the first-place team, with additional prizes for second place.
Visitors are welcome to attend and enjoy the games.
All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting Ma’iingan and his family.
