Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF) has launched its Igniting Healthcare Spring 50/50 lottery, offering another exciting chance for community members to win big and give back in support of local healthcare.
This year’s Spring 50/50 features an incredible $9,000 in total Early Bird prizes, including $1,000 weekly draws every Thursday from May 8 to June 5, and a bonus $4,000 Early Bird draw on Tuesday, June 10. The Grand Prize Draw will take place on Thursday, June 12, with ticket sales closing at noon that day.
“We are so excited to kick off another 50/50 campaign,” said Christine Mitchell, President & CEO of the Foundation, in a media release.
“These lotteries are such a fun way to rally our community and give back to our hospital – and of course, we absolutely love getting to call up lucky winners and share the amazing news with them! We’re so grateful for the generosity we continue to see from across Chatham-Kent and beyond. It’s because of this support that we’re able to make a real difference for local healthcare.”
Last year’s Spring 50/50 winner, Jason Howes of St. Thomas – a former resident of McKay’s Corners – took home an impressive $74,690 Grand Prize. With this year’s jackpot springing into action on May 1st, everyone is encouraged to grab their tickets early for seven different chances to win, while being part of something that truly gives back.
Proceeds from the Igniting Healthcare 50/50 continue to support the Highest Priority Needs of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA).
Most recently, this fund helped purchase a new Fluoroscopy machine for CKHA, contributing the final balance needed after a highly successful, three-month campaign raised $584,210 toward this $1 million piece of equipment.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.ignite5050.ca any time from Thursday, May 1st at 9:00 a.m. until Thursday, June 12th at 11:59 a.m.
In person ticket sales will also be available at the Foundation’s Chatham office (9 Ursuline Ave, Chatham), Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and from the Foundation’s office inside CKHA’s Wallaceburg Site (325 Margaret Ave, Wallaceburg) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Wednesday throughout the campaign.
