The Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent has announced the success of the 2025 Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign.
Foundation officials say thanks to the generosity of local Tim Hortons restaurant owners and the community’s unwavering support, the campaign raised an impressive $67,986 to benefit the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation.
The campaign, which is part of a larger national initiative that raised over $22-million for more than 600 charities and community groups across Canada, saw local Tim Hortons restaurant owners – the Pritchard family and Mike and Paula Grail – join forces to support the Foundation’s vital programming.
The funds raised will go directly towards programs at the Centre that are not covered by government funding, including social work, therapeutic recreation, and music therapy.
In addition to the incredible contributions from Tim Hortons customers, over 100 dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly in the Armouries kitchen throughout the week, baking and decorating and delivering the iconic Smile Cookies, ensuring that smiles were shared throughout the community.
“We are deeply grateful for the continued support from our community, Tim Hortons, and the generous volunteers who helped make this year’s campaign a success,” said Mike Genge, President and CEO at the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation, in a media release.
“The funds raised will make a real difference in the lives of the children and families who rely on our programs for essential therapy and support.”
The Smile Cookie campaign has become a beloved tradition, and the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation is proud to be part of such a meaningful initiative that brings the community together to support children and youth in need.
