Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately 12:10 a.m., Chatham-Kent Police responded to a report of an assault that took place on Sunset Crescent in Tilbury.
The incident occurred when an individual was walking with friends and was unexpectedly approached and punched in the nose by another individual.
As a result of the altercation, the 18-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and subsequently charged with assault.
He was released with conditions and a future court date of July 9, 2025.
