B&E in Ridegtown leads to an arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 16, 2025, at approximately 8:55 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter involving an assault at a residence in Ridgetown.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that a 45-year-old female from Ridgetown unlawfully entered the residence of a 49-year-old male, also from Ridgetown through a window.

Once inside, she confronted the male and struck him in the face.

Minor injuries were received, and medical attention was not required.

The accused then exited the residence.

The individual was located and arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service officers.

She is currently facing the following charge:

– Break & Enter Commit the Indictable Offence of Assault

The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters.

She was released with a scheduled future court date of July 24, 2025.
