The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament set a new fundraising record this year, raising $151,457 in support of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
Held June 6 at Maple City Country Club, the sold-out event hosted 128 golfers and was supported by more than 20 volunteers and over 35 local sponsors.
“To raise more than $150,000 through a single-day event is a testament to the strength of our community,” said CKHAF President and CEO Christine Mitchell. “This event was a shining example of what we can accomplish together.”
The Frank and Mary Uniac Charitable Fund served as Platinum Partner, while CIBC Private Wealth: The Seabrook Financial Group returned as Gold Partner.
The winning team of Owen Dorssers, Jason Dorssers, Finn O’Brien, and Patrick O’Brien shot -17 to take top honours.
Proceeds from the tournament will go toward CKHA’s highest priority needs, including medical equipment and facility upgrades at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites.
Mitchell said the milestone 20th anniversary marks two decades of community generosity and impact. Next year’s tournament is scheduled for June 5, 2026.
