OPP officials allege: On June 22, 2025, shortly after 6 p.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of unsafe road conditions on Highway 402 westbound.
As a result, Highway 402 westbound is closed between Oil Heritage Road and Mandaumin Road in the Municipality of Plympton-Wyoming.
Westbound motorists are advised to exit at Oil Heritage Road and detour following London Line to Mandaumin Road to re-enter the highway.
The road closure is expected to remain in place for an extended period while crews work to safely repair the road surface.
Motorists are asked to plan an alternative route and allow for extra travel time.
