Wallaceburg Legion Branch 18 is celebrating the success of its latest fishing derby, calling this year’s event another one “for the books.”
Organizers expressed gratitude to the many volunteers and sponsors who helped make the event possible, noting the strong sense of community support behind it.
“We are so lucky to have such amazing people in our community,” the Legion shared on social media, thanking a long list of supporters, including Wallaceburg Kinsmen, McDonald’s, Anglers Choice’s Dave McCreary, The Crappy Store, and several local families and individuals.
The Legion gave a heartfelt shoutout to volunteers as well, saying, “We love our volunteers! Thank you, thank you! We appreciate you so much!”
