Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 3, 2025, at approximately 7:48 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on Hillyard Street in Chatham after a complainant reported that a female was attempting to gain entry into the home.
The woman was described as wearing a grey sweater and blue jeans.
Upon arrival, officers located the woman matching the description was found actively trying to pull down a damaged window screen.
The 31-year-old Chatham woman was arrested for Mischief under $5,000 and was transported to police headquarters, where she is currently being held pending a bail hearing.
