Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 13, 2025, the 29-year-old female from Chatham entered into Peace Bond Agreement with conditions that included no contact, direct or indirect with a 26-year-old male from Chatham and to stay at least 50 metres away from any known place the individual lives, work, or attends school, unless written revocable consent was provided.
On July 27, 2025, at approximately 03: 30 hrs. The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a call for service regarding a possible break and enter at a residence. Upon arrival, officers observed two individuals inside. One of the individuals was the 29-year-old female who was known to be subject to conditions prohibiting her from being in contact with the male individual.
Subsequently, the female individual was arrested and charged with the following:
– Breach of Recognizance (communicate – condition 1)
– Breach of Recognizance (attend – condition 2)
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and was released with a future court date of September 20, 2025.
