Fire crews responded to a structure fire early Saturday morning on Old Ferry Road in Walpole Island.
The fire department says crews arrived shortly after 6 a.m. and conducted primary and secondary searches, confirming no one was inside the home.
Firefighters worked to extinguish stubborn hot spots before the blaze was brought under control.
Officials say all trucks and personnel returned safely to the hall once the fire was out.
