Sarnia Police Service officials allege: On August 27, 2025, at approximately 2:55 pm, the Sarnia Police Service, Sarnia Fire Rescue, and Lambton Emergency Medical Services responded to the Drive Test Centre on Lambton Mall Road for a report of a motor vehicle that had crashed through the front windows of the business.
Upon arrival, emergency services observed a SUV that was located inside the business after crashing through the wall. A 20-year-old male client was transported to the hospital for treatment of lacerations and scrapes after he was cut by falling glass. The male was later released. The driver, a 73-year-old female, was unharmed.
Although the building sustained significant damage, it was determined by City engineers that the structural integrity of the building remained in place, and it was safe for the vehicle to be removed.
The incident remains under investigation by the Sarnia Police Service.
