We have received a lot of calls for sandwich trays, wrap trays, veggie and fruit trays. Yes, we do all those. We have also seen an increase in group bookings. We have our private room, which seats 18 and there is no charge for this room. The pub, or the dining room are available for private groups such as celebrations of life. There is no charge for these rooms. We tend to do things a bit different, and our closing time is a good example. We don’t close at 7:00. Our last seating is at 7:00. Our closing time is whenever the last guest leaves. Why wouldn’t we just close at 8:00 or 9:00? The answer is simple. When you close at 8:00, there is always going to be that guy that shows up at 7:55, so you don’t actually close at 8:00. Most of our regulars know our hours and understand the logic. Our family has been giving back since 1969 and we rarely say no to a donation or a sponsorship but here are the guidelines. We sponsor groups and events in Wallaceburg, Walpole Island, Port Lambton and Dresden. Anything beyond that is not local to us. Any questions, shoot us a message. We believe in transparency and keeping our customers informed. Lastly, if you ever have a bad experience at the Goose, message us and we will address the issue and take care of the problem.
