Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 23-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing charges after police say he unlawfully entered a home and threatened witnesses during a domestic incident Sunday morning.
Officers were called to a residence on Sheldon Avenue around 5:50 a.m. on Oct. 5.
Police say the man, who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance, was found inside a home where he was not permitted to be. The female resident confirmed he was not allowed on the property, and two witnesses reported he had threatened them.
The man was arrested for unlawfully being in a dwelling house and uttering threats. He was taken to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
