Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre is thrilled to announce the release of their audio theatre production of The War of the Worlds, the timeless masterpiece made famous by Orson Welles and the Mercury Theatre On The Air on October 30, 1938.
This engaging audio theatre performance features a stellar cast of local voice actors, including Keith Burnett as Professor Pierson and Noelle Dupuis as Carla Phillips, with original music, sound effects, and background ambiences.
David Farquhar, Executive Producer of Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre, says, “The War of the Worlds was initially produced in 2007 for Halloween broadcast on CFCO 630 AM / 92.9 FM to commemorate their 80th Anniversary. CFCO, which first went on the air in 1927, is one of Canada’s oldest radio stations. Our marketing and distribution partner, Blackstone Publishing of Ashland, Oregon, is launching the show globally and it will be available everywhere audiobooks are sold.”
The War of the Worlds was directed by George Zarr. The other cast members include JC Charbonneau, Joseph Benoit, Dave Ceranec, Jan Holt, Sean Holt, Alex Tomaszewski, Pat Gough, Denise Benoit, David Farquhar and George Zarr
