Bkejwanong Kinomaagewgamig will be closed on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, following a water main break at the school.
In a notice to families, Principal Craig Lindsay said the closure is necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff while repairs are completed.
“We understand that this may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this issue,” Lindsay said.
The school’s maintenance team is working with the appropriate services to resolve the problem and will provide updates to families as more information becomes available.
“Miigwech for your continued support and cooperation,” the notice added.
