Sarnia Police Service officials allege: Police are investigating after a woman was found dead early Friday morning near Ferry Dock Hill in downtown Sarnia.
Around 6:30 a.m. on October 31, Sarnia police and Lambton County paramedics responded to a report of an unresponsive woman in the area of 125 Front Street North.
Emergency crews located a 34-year-old woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was examined by members of the Sarnia Police Service Identification Branch and Criminal Investigations Division.
The woman’s body was transported to London Health Sciences Centre for a post-mortem investigation. Police said the cause of death remains under investigation and the woman’s name has not been released.
