Trinity United Church in Wallaceburg is asking the community to donate leftover Halloween candy to help fill Christmas hampers for local families in need.
Donations can be dropped off at the church, located at 750 Wellington Street across from the fire station, during office hours Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Church staff say all contributions are appreciated as they work to spread holiday cheer and support those facing difficult times this season.
