Salvation Army opens Christmas assistance registration across Chatham-Kent

The Salvation Army of Chatham-Kent is opening registration for its annual Christmas Assistance program from November 4 to 28, offering support for local families in need during the holiday season.

No appointments are required to register, and residents can apply in Chatham, Ridgetown, or Wallaceburg.

In Chatham, registration will take place at 46 Orangewood Blvd. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In Ridgetown, applications will be accepted at 31 Main Street East on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

In Wallaceburg, residents can register at 600 Lowe Avenue from Tuesday to Friday between 9 a.m. and noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Applicants are asked to bring identification for all household members as well as information on household income and expenses.
