The Chief and Council of Walpole Island First Nation have announced the resignation of Councillor Amy White.
In a statement issued October 31, Chief and Council expressed their appreciation to White for her dedicated service, leadership and commitment to the community.
They said her contributions and advocacy supported initiatives that have positively benefited the Nation and its members.
“Amy’s passion for our people, culture and lands has been deeply valued, and her efforts have made a meaningful and lasting impact,” the statement read.
Chief and Council also extended best wishes to White in her future endeavours and thanked her for her time and dedication to Walpole Island First Nation.
