Julie O’Connor has been named the first early bird winner in the Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association’s Mega-Jackpot 50/50 draw.
O’Connor purchased her tickets in support of a strong family hockey tradition — seven of her nine grandchildren play for the Wallaceburg Lakers. Her hockey crew includes players across several age divisions, from U5 to U11, along with two future Lakers already cheering from the stands.
Organizers thanked O’Connor for her ongoing support of the local hockey community and congratulated her on the win.
