Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 41-year-old woman from Chatham is facing charges after police say she was found to be prohibited from driving during a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.
Shortly after 4 p.m. on November 6, 2025, Chatham-Kent Police Service officers conducted a traffic stop at Keil Drive and Park Avenue West after an Automatic Licence Plate Reader (ALPR) alerted them to a possible suspended driver.
Through investigation, officers confirmed the woman was prohibited from operating a motor vehicle. She was arrested and charged with operation while prohibited.
Her vehicle was towed, and she was released with conditions and a court date set for December 8, 2025.
