Mrs. Joan Delida Gustin, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the age of 73 years. Joan was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Green) Houle.
Beloved wife of the late Willard Gustin (2014).
Loving mother of Tony Gustin.
Sadly missed as “Meme” to her grandson Josh.
Kind sister of Mary-Ann (Russ) Leverton, Bill Houle, Jack (Deb) Houle, Mike (Marg) Houle, Brian (Tracey) Houle, Jerry Houle, the late Richard Houle and the late Greg (surviving Susie) Houle.
Kind sister-in-law of Tom (Alma) Gustin, Mike Gustin, Marty (Brenda) Gustin, Virginia (Arden) Smith, Steve (Trish) Gustin, the late Gary Gustin (2025), Don Gustin (2022), Carol (surviving David) Pratt (2017), and Rob Gustin (1985).
Also sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Joan will be missed for her baking for all her family.
She enjoyed her yardwork and re-finishing projects.
She was always devoted to family, her home and her feline friends.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 2-4pm at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home. (639 Elgin St, Wallaceburg.
Interment of Ashes will take place in Riverview Cemetery on a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army may be left at the funeral home.
