The holiday season officially kicks off this week as Santa Claus parades roll out across communities in Chatham-Kent.
Festivities begin in Chatham on Friday, Nov. 14, with the parade set to start at 6 p.m. The next evening, Wallaceburg will welcome Santa on Saturday, Nov. 15, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Tilbury’s parade will take place Friday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m., followed by Blenheim on Friday, Dec. 5, also starting at 7 p.m. Wheatley will host its parade on Saturday, Dec. 6, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The celebrations continue the following weekend with Ridgetown’s parade on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m., followed by Dresden’s at 6 p.m. that evening. Thamesville will close out the parade season on Friday, Dec. 19, with its event starting at 7 p.m.
