OPP officials allege: Ontario Provincial Police are investigating reports of fraud connected to the sale of recreational vehicles through a business in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
According to police, the OPP Lakeshore detachment has received several complaints from individuals who said they placed their recreational vehicles for sale on consignment or stored them for the winter at a business located in the 20000 block of County Road 42.
When the owners returned to retrieve their RVs, police said the vehicles were no longer on the property.
The Essex County OPP Crime Unit is assisting with the investigation as officers continue to gather information from affected individuals.
