Wayne Authier has been named the second early bird winner in the Wallaceburg Minor Hockey Association’s ongoing 50/50 fundraiser.
Authier purchased his tickets in support of Holt Hedden (U5), Eddie Duchene (U9) and Avery Duchene (U13). The association thanked him for backing local players and helping provide equipment, ice time and development opportunities for young athletes.
The next early bird draw for $1,000 is set for December 14, with the final mega jackpot to be awarded on Christmas Eve. WMHA says the pot currently sits at $19,000 and continues to grow.
Tickets can be purchased at wmha5050.com, with proceeds supporting all local minor hockey players.
