St. Clair Catholic presents 2025 Director’s Annual Report

St. Clair Catholic District School Board trustees received the 2025 Director’s Annual Report at their Dec. 2 board meeting, marking the first such report presented by Director of Education Lisa Demers.

Demers described the document as a reflection of a full year of work across the district, highlighting student achievement in classrooms and on sports fields, as well as a wide range of social justice initiatives. She said the report showcases the ways students and staff live their faith by supporting community members in need, while also fostering safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environments.

The report is framed around the four priorities in the board’s strategic plan: learning and innovation, faith and wellbeing, partnerships, and Catholic citizenship. Additional sections recognize district-wide milestones and outline the board’s continued commitment to ethical and responsible stewardship of resources.

Demers called the publication “a great news report,” and said she is proud to share it with trustees, students, staff, families, parish partners and other school boards across Ontario.

Under the Education Act, directors of education must provide an annual summary of board programs and activities. The report will now be submitted to the Minister of Education and posted on the board’s website.
