Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 49-year-old Chatham man has been charged following an investigation into a disturbance reported last month on Mary Street.
Police were called to the residence on Nov. 4 at 7:16 p.m. after a woman reported her neighbour had punched two holes in her door during a yelling outburst. She also described ongoing problems, including loud banging, yelling and targeted disturbances.
Investigators identified the man and charged him with criminal harassment, mischief under $5,000 and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. He was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 28, 2026.
