Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 21-year-old Tilbury man was arrested Tuesday morning after a traffic stop in Pain Court revealed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Shortly after 9 a.m. on December 10, 2025, a Chatham-Kent police officer stopped a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Pain Court Line in Dover Township. Police say the driver was found to be wanted by the Elgin County OPP.
Elgin County officers attended the scene and took custody of the man to process the warrant. He was released with conditions and a scheduled court date.
The driver was also issued a Provincial Offence Notice for speeding under the Highway Traffic Act.
