The Lord took to Himself my beloved husband of 65 years, Andrew Devries.
He was a lifetime farmer in Dawn Township and was Lambton County Cattleman of the year several years in a row.
He was a faithful member of Living Hope Free Reformed Church.
Andrew passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Riverview Gardens in Chatham at the age of 91.
Born in Lutjegast, Netherlands, son of the late John and Audrey (Vanderbyl) Devries.
Beloved husband of Sandra (Linker) Devries. Loving dad to Calvin Devries, Ron Devries (Anita).
Cherished paake of Maverick and Samantha. Dear brother of Ann Hoekstra (Jack), Herman Devries (Mary), Yvonne VanDolder (Herman), Bill Devries, the late Fred Devries (Emmy) and Alice Devries. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
A friend to many, may his memory now keep company those who remain.
The Devries family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St, Dresden on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM.
Interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to The Ministry to Seafarers – Montreal.
