Linck Foundation rebrands to expand support for Chatham-Kent families

The Linck Foundation has rebranded as part of an effort to strengthen support for children, youth and families across Chatham-Kent and surrounding communities.

Linck Child, Youth and Family Supports announced the rebranding on January 14, 2025, saying the updated Foundation identity is intended to better align with growing community needs and to enhance support for Linck’s programs. Linck and the Foundation work in partnership to ensure programs within developmental services, mental health, youth justice and child protection have the financial resources required to serve local families.

Executive Director Teri Thomas-Vanos said the rebrand reflects a renewed commitment to the community and will help increase donor support through a more accessible Foundation structure. She said the initiative reinforces Linck’s core values of equity, accountability and empowerment for families in Chatham-Kent.

Foundation Director Gary Edwards said demand for intensive supports and placements for youth in care continues to rise locally. He noted the rebranded Foundation is positioned to help the community support programs that aim to make a meaningful impact in Chatham-Kent and beyond.

The rebranding process included consultation with community members, along with input from Linck leadership and staff. Linck and the Foundation say they will continue their work under the new banner with an expanded scope focused on building stronger relationships and improving outcomes for children, youth and families.
