Ursuline College Chatham is inviting Grade 8 students and their families to its annual open house later this month, offering an inside look at the school’s programs, facilities and community.
The open house will take place Thursday, January 29, 2026, beginning at 7 p.m. The evening will start in the school theatre with a welcome from Principal Lisa Harnarine, followed by guided tours led by teachers and student leaders. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, athletic facilities, arts areas and technology labs, as well as learn more about the range of courses and programs available to students.
“Welcoming our future Lancers is one of the most exciting moments of the year,” says Principal Lisa Harnarine. “This is your chance to feel the energy of our school, meet our incredible staff, and discover the supportive, faith-filled community that helps every student reach their full potential.”
Director of Education Lisa Demers said the event offers families an opportunity to experience what sets UCC apart. “UCC is more than a school — it’s a place where students discover who they are and who they are called to become. From academics to the arts, athletics to skilled trades, UCC offers endless opportunities. We invite families to come and experience it for themselves,” she said.
The open house is intended for Grade 8 students and their parents or guardians and is designed to help families make an informed decision about secondary school. Organizers say the event will include presentations, interactive tours and opportunities to connect with staff and student leaders.
Ursuline College Chatham encourages families to mark their calendars and attend the January 29 open house to learn more about the school and what awaits future Lancers as they prepare to enter high school.
