An innovative new youth ministry aimed at engaging teenagers and supporting families and churches is set to launch in Wallaceburg next week.
U-Turn Ministries Canada has announced that The Underground will officially kick off Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at 7 p.m. The ministry is designed to reach and grow the hearts of youth aged 13 to 18, while also serving parents, pastors and partner churches across the region.
Organizers describe The Underground as a space that may mean different things to different people, but at its core is focused on creating meaningful connection, spiritual growth and community for teenagers. The program is structured around high-energy gatherings that bring students together in an engaging environment intended to foster faith, belonging and personal development.
The Underground operates under the U-Turn Ministries Canada umbrella and is currently based in Wallaceburg, with outreach extending to surrounding communities. Ministry leaders say the initiative is meant to complement existing church youth programs while providing a shared space for students from multiple congregations to connect.
