A local restaurant is once again turning pizza sales into support for minor hockey families.
For the third consecutive year, Glasstown Brewing Company has partnered with the Wallaceburg Lakers Hockey Parents for a month-long February fundraiser aimed at giving back to local players and their families.
Throughout the month, $3 from every specialty pizza and $5 from every pepperoni pizza sold will be directed to support Wallaceburg Lakers hockey families.
Organizers say the initiative is designed to make it easy for the community to contribute, whether dining in or ordering takeout.
“February at Glasstown means pizza with a purpose!” the business said in a statement announcing the campaign.
For the third year in a row, the restaurant said it is proud to team up with the Wallaceburg Lakers Hockey Parents for the initiative, noting that every order helps make a difference for local families involved in the sport.
“Eat pizza. Support local. Stay Glassy.”
