Wallaceburg man charged with voyeurism in intimate image investigation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Wallaceburg man is facing charges following an investigation into the alleged unauthorised sharing of a private photograph.

Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a complaint on Feb. 16, 2026, regarding the sharing of a private image.

Through investigation, officers learned the image had been taken without the knowledge or consent of the victim, a 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman, and was also shared without her consent.

As a result, a 30-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with voyeurism and publication of an intimate image without consent.

On Feb. 17, 2026, at about 7:08 p.m., the accused surrendered at police headquarters, where he was arrested. He was later released with a scheduled court date of March 23, 2026.
