Movie lovers can take in a series of emotional and entertaining films this March at the Chatham branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
Films are shown Tuesday afternoons at 2 p.m., with no screening scheduled for March 17. Organizers say this month’s selections “will stir your emotions, taking you on journeys that will make you laugh, cry, and feel deeply.”
The lineup begins March 3 with “Eddie the Eagle” (PG), starring Taron Egerton, Hugh Jackman and Tom Costello. On March 10, the library will screen “Roofman” (14A), featuring Channing Tatum, Kirsten Dunst and LaKeith Stanfield.
Screenings resume March 24 with “The Great Escaper” (NR), starring Michael Caine, Glenda Jackson and Danielle Vitalis. The final film of the month, “The Friend” (R), featuring Bill Murray, Naomi Watts and Cloé Xhauflaire, will be shown March 30.
All are welcome to attend the Tuesday afternoon movies. Registration is not required and a $2 donation is suggested at the door. More information about programs and events is available at www.ckpl.ca.
