Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 21-year-old driver has been charged following a single-vehicle collision on Longwoods Road.
Chatham-Kent police responded at approximately 5:14 p.m. on Feb. 21, 2026, after receiving reports of a vehicle leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
The driver was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A 17-year-old passenger was assessed at the scene and did not require further medical attention.
The driver was issued a provincial offences notice for careless driving.
