Police investigating residential break-in and theft in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police are investigating a residential break and enter reported in the area of Dale Drive in Chatham.

Police say the incident occurred sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. on March 5, 2026.

According to investigators, unknown suspects attended the address and entered the main door of the property by damaging the lock. Various items valued at approximately $2,000 and about $400 in U.S. currency were taken.

The investigation is ongoing.
