On, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Marian Alice Watson passed away peacefully in her 101st year.
She is now reunited with her dear husbands Kenneth Watson (1981) and Gerald Gilhuly (1986). Marian’s legacy will continue to live on through her daughters Janet (Gary) van Staalduinen and Patricia (Patrick) Henderson as well as through her grandchildren Erin Mathany, Lauren Mathany (CJ Scholefield), Stephen Henderson, Sean Henderson (Jen Maricle) and her great grandchildren Isla and Hazel Scholefield.
Marian was the last surviving child of the late Ralph and Hazel Kyle and has now joined her sisters Grace Kyle and Helen (Fred) Tompkins.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 10am until the time of her funeral service at 11am.
She will be laid to rest beside Kenneth at Riverview Cemetery following.
