Friends of Chatham Gathering raises over $18,000 for hospice

The Friends of Chatham Gathering continues to grow as a community-driven event, raising more than $18,000 this year in support of Chatham-Kent Hospice.

Organizers say the gathering, which began as a way to celebrate friendship and reconnect, has evolved into a larger initiative focused on giving back, drawing strong attendance and community support.

Dave Carey, Mike Dorner and Ray O’Phee were among those recognized for their roles in organizing the event, along with the many volunteers and attendees who contributed to its success.

The annual gathering has become a tradition in the community, with organizers and supporters aiming to build on this year’s momentum and make an even greater impact in the future.
