Sarnia Police Service officials allege: Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a suspect in a fatal shooting at a Lambton College campus bar that left one man dead and two others injured.
Officers were called to the campus bar on April 10, 2026, at 12:52 a.m. for a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds, including one with life-threatening injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts at the scene and later in hospital, 20-year-old Dane Nisbet was pronounced dead.
Two other individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have identified the primary suspect as Kyaw “Chin” DOE, who investigators believe is actively evading arrest. Authorities say the suspect may be attempting to change his appearance and clothing to avoid detection.
A Canada-wide warrant has now been issued for DOE’s arrest, allowing the Sarnia Police Service to take custody of him anywhere in the country. Police say the warrant enables officers to retrieve the suspect from any location within Canada if he is located.
