The Dresden Minor Hockey Association is celebrating a championship win by its U11 Rep team, which has been crowned 2026 Tier 1 OMHA champions.
The Jr. Kings rebounded after dropping their opening game to Frontenac, going on to secure consecutive victories over Highland, Huntsville and Napanee to advance to the final.
The championship game featured a rematch against the host Frontenac Flyers in Kingston, where Dresden earned a 6-3 victory to claim the title.
With the win, the team secured the OMHA championship and were awarded the league’s traditional Red Hats.
